About This Song.....

"It’s not changing the world but it’s changing the way I feel”. My new single explores the magic power in a great song to change our whole day. Written on piano, “Changing” unravels the mysterious process known to songwriters and anyone involved in creative pursuits.  I recorded this track in my home studio in LA. I built it up by layering & playing grand piano, organ, bass, slide guitar, synth, tenor sax, alto sax, trumpet and trombone and sang all the vocal parts.

This song was influenced by The Beatles, Jellyfish, Supertramp, Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney, World Party, Billy Joel, & Elton John. I like to call this song genre “progressive pop”.  “Changing the Way I Feel” has a multi section song structure which adds a bit of complexity but the hooks repeat themselves enough to give the listener a comfortable ride!

Backed by my live band, Karma Train, I'm currently performing this song on US tour dates. Check out the artful music video for this song on my YouTube Channel.  If you just discovered me, hello!
