Dave Lebental & The Driftwood Souls- "The Long Player Tour" heads to Northern California

Dave Lebental & The Driftwood Souls have announced a tour stop in Berkeley, CA. for Friday August 2nd at the Ashkenaz Music & Dance Community Center. The band will be performing the songs from Dave's new album “The Long Player” as well as previewing some upcoming singles. “The Long Player” has been receiving enthusiastic praise from underground music blogs and the independent music press. Writers have been noting the quality of the songwriting which has classic rock & pop influences. Released independently, the songs and videos have quietly generated over a million streams/views in the digital world and have spawned an underground fan base.

“I'm excited to get up to the Bay Area and play for a Northern California audience!”  says Lebental.  “Over the years I’ve visited & checked out many shows in the Bay Area and I just love the vibe. It’s got a feeling that sets it apart from other places. Right now I’m in a cool period in my life where I get to release the music I want and play shows in the places that inspire me”. Lebental’s backing band, The Driftwood Souls, are a talented crew comprised of drummer Bryon Holley (Isaac Hayes, Perry Farrell, Ruben Blades), saxophonist Dan Boissy (Macy Gray, John Legend, Fitz & The Tantrums), bassist Mick Linden (John Goodsall, Paula Cole, Wilton Felder), and Guitarist/Keyboardist John “JT” Thomas (Billy Sherwood, Toni Childs, Graham Bonet). You can count on a zenful set with jammed out versions of Dave’s well written songs.  Tickets for the Ashkenaz show are available at https://www.venuepilot.co/events/109139/orders/new#/
