Dave Lebental has announced that his debut solo LP, “The Long Player” will be released on January, 12th, 2024. The album is a collection of 11 Americana, Blues and Rock tracks. The LP is will made available as a digital download, CD or Limited Edition Numbered Vinyl.
Lebental says his songs and sound owe a debt to James Taylor, Ryan Adams, The Eagles, Tom Petty, and The Beatles. His recordings on “The Long Player” are analog performances (like his influences) and do not use any samples or loops. Lebental layers his songs by using a multi-track digital format. In addition to the lead and harmony vocals, he played various instruments to give each song its own texture and flavor. Drummer Tim Freund adds the grooves with live acoustic drums.
